Extensive Dry Eye Evaluation
An Extensive Dry Eye Evaluation includes a thorough history, diagnostic testing and an evaluation of the ocular surface- a deep dive into determining all the causes that contribute to your dry eye. Extensive Dry Eye Evaluations are for more complex patients with severe dry eye or those who have not had a good response to traditional dry eye therapy. Your Eyewell doctor interprets the data and suggests structured recommendations for treatment that are shared with your regular eye doctor.
Telehealth (TELEPHONE) Consultation
A Telehealth Consultation consists of a TELEPHONE conversation with an Eyewell provider to discuss your current dry eye status and to answer questions regarding which appointment may best for you. An Eyewell provider will call you at the phone number in your profile. Please do NOT show up in person. Payment in-full is expected at the time of service.

Punctal Occlusion
Punctal Occlusion is a procedure for management of dry eye and ocular surface disease by which one or more of the lacrimal puncta are occluded. Occluding the puncta increases or preserves the level of natural tears on the surface of the eye. Each of 4 puncta may be occluded temporarily with a collagen plug or gel (Lacrifill). For more permanent occlusion, a silicone plug is utilized. Any of these methods is reversible in that the plug may be irrigated through or removed.
